Learning To Swim in The Deep End

In this world all things come to an end. Change often creates anxiety and doubt because it involves the unknown, it involves getting outside your comfort zone. We tend to resist change because of fear and possible lack of hope. The reality is change is an inevitable part of life.

It always takes a closure in order to find a new beginning. It takes evaluating your core values and feelings, reviewing what is really important in life, and putting together a plan to grow, renew energy, new feeling of purpose to create the beautiful new dream. Life is an opportunity that awaits! Nothing can be more exhilarating than exploring and stretching yourself to new heights, trusting yourself and the process you have chosen!

This year has been profoundly transformational for me. I feel like I’ve grown exponentially from my personal and professional experiences. I fostered many strong professional relationships built on trust and genuine positive regard for others. I launched my business. I started a new chapter in my life, a new chapter of self-improvement by going in with a completely open mind and heart.

Every day I learn to swim in the deep end. I have an opportunity to choose my future. It’s up to me! I am empowered. I am in charge. I create my life.

I invest in myself, in my education. I have a lasting commitment to ongoing personal development and education. I've become very good at self-coaching. I also invested into a coach that is right for me. I have been studying psychology, meditation, stress reduction methods and almost everything else regarding mind, body and spirit connection.

I choose to be at the cause of my life. I am clear about my goals and desires, and I am on a mastery path to reach those goals. I put my energy behind what I do to create the desired change. I use the insights I learn from my life to create my awareness. This allows me to be more present and connected with myself and others. I am completely aware about what is happening around and within me. I am no longer attached to any particular outcome. I trust myself,  my intuition, and the process.

Awareness for me is the ability and courage to recognize “what is”, to discern what is actually happening from my mind’s interpretation of what is happening. Knowing “what is” enables me to respond rather than react.

The key to creating awareness for me is to first pay attention to and observe what is occurring internally. It helps me separate the facts from my interpretations and see how my values, beliefs and purpose affect my actions. It helps me learn to simply acknowledge the experience of “what is” without rating it as good or bad or comparing myself to others.

I used to be skeptical about anything that I didn’t have the credibility to produce. I used to resist all that was unfamiliar.

Practising awareness has made it possible for me to clearly see “what is” and accept that. I recognize that if acceptance is missing, I am fighting “what is” and in a sense “what was”. I know that full acceptance allows me to engage all my energy in achieving my goals and ultimately get closer to realizing my full potential.

Being aware and accepting where I am helps me develop internally and externally in order for my best tomorrow to be better than my best today.

I read somewhere that in order to expand your consciousness (your awareness of who you really are, as opposed to the "you" that you believe you are and that you were taught that you are), it’s important to stop resisting your experiences and instead open up to them completely, immersing yourself in them in mindful presence….let every situation be what it is instead of what you think it should be. Realize that all events are purposeful, even if they are painful.
